Draw This Again Meme - Durin's Stone

The popular Draw this again meme! Here you can see and judge the improvement of past 10 years...

The left picture is one of my first Tolkien-themed pictures ever, called Nanduhirion. It is not on dA, but you can find it on my website Angrenost.cz. This has always been one of my favourite scenes from the book so I chose to draw it. But I was quite afraid of drawing people, so I drew only the vale. It is in oil pastels.

And the right picture is my recent addition to gallery, Durin's Stone. There was an illustration contest The Fellowship of the Ring last month and I wasn't able to choose a particular scene to draw for a long time, because I'm still much worse in drawing characters than landscapes, so I wanted a scene with landscape playing prominent role. And finally I remembered this one and I knew I must definitely draw it again... This time I used coloured pencils.
